Mr Wang is a proficient and capable teacher who can always keep you on task and focused. He has taught me many subjects and concepts that are highly beyond my grade level and I have managed to understand and apply it all. Mr Wang has a unique and effective teaching style, and always has shortcuts and more efficient methods to solve problems outside of the given curriculum. Lessons are always rewarding and fast-paced, and homework is reasonably assigned to fit into your school schedule while remaining rewarding. The content that is being taught is presented understandably and is illustrated in a way where mastery is easily achieved within a short time frame.
Mr Wang is dedicated to the student, and he assisted and influenced me greatly from when I began his lessons to now. He resolves any problems students requires succour to, from improving grades, advancing your mathematical knowledge, or helping you get into an extension or enrichment class. Mr Wang also has a gratuitous Year 10 course that he opened to help any student at any senior year level who is willing to dedicate themselves to learning more advanced material while maintaining motivation every week. I have benefited greatly from this program, with it pushing me forward and building a solid base for my future studies, and the material is understandable although I’m at a lower year level.
About my student: 2021年认识J的时候，他是Trinity 8年级的学生。他补习的目标很明确，就是要进入Trinity的加强班。我根据他的情况给他安排了奥数题的训练。经过半年的努力，他已经拥有较强的数学思维，对于大部分的奥数题也可以从容应对。2021年7月份开始J成功进入加强班的学习。目前J在我这里补习11年级中数，在学校加强班里的成绩也是非常靠前。

In 2020, I wanted to learn Methods and Specialist Mathematics and needed a teacher. We found Mr Wang, and he taught me Methods and Specialist maths for the following 6 months. Mr Wang is a fantastic teacher. He teaches in clear and concise ways, with all relevant information displayed neatly in his teaching documents. He also puts commonly made mistakes in the documents, helping me make fewer errors. He covers content at amazing speeds while still allowing the student to understand his points extremely clearly. This is one reason why Mr Wang was such a great teacher.
Mr Wang also utilised homework to help me improve. He has a massive bank of resources, with different books from which he gets his problems. While Mr Wang taught me, he used the resources of more than five books to allow my abilities as a mathematician to increase. He also always went through my homework with me, allowing me to understand where they erred and where they did well.
If you think that classes could be boring, then I assure you that Mr Wang’s maths classes are not. He quickly picked up on my speed of understanding. He also asked me where I want to be assisted, and where I was capable. Using these, he guaranteed that I was never bored in the class. This ability was the thing that separated him from the other teachers that I had.
Without a doubt, Mr Wang was one of the best teachers I was fortunate enough to meet. If you are in search of a teacher, he is probably your best option.
About my student: E是我教过的学生中最特别的一个。当时他是7年级Trinity的学生，找我学10年级的数学。我发现他自学能力特别强，超过同龄人的成熟和对知识的渴望。每周一节两个小时的课程他可以非常的专注。在六个月的时间里，我不仅教完10年级的课程，而且教会了他大部分的VCE中数和高数的内容。E现在是澳大利亚奥数国家集训队的成员, 并且拿到Scotch的全额奖学金。

It was a pleasure to be in Mr Wang’s specialist 3/4 class. He made sure to explain concepts clearly and succinctly and provided a plethora of practice questions. His lessons were always well organised and meticulously planned out. We started off most classes by completing a quiz as revision before moving onto his notes; this structure allowed his students to effectively
consolidate previously learnt content. Mr Wang’s commitment to his students was also commendable – he was willing to answer our questions, in class and by email any time.

The Maths lessons with Mr. Wang have become must-have outside school activities for my son. I have to say: “Mr. Wang, you make Maths fun.”
Referred by a friend, I booked a trial lesson. After that, we decided to lock in lessons with Mr. Wang without hesitation.
Mr. Wang makes full use of every minutes of the lessons, and keeps on interacting with the student. I find my son shows great concentration during the lessons, which is quite rare as he is quite easily get distracted during other lessons.
Not only does Mr. Wang shows a professional way of teaching tailored to the individual, but also he is always willing to contribute extra time to give me advices on educating kids on specific issues. I really appreciate it, Mr. Wang.
Being an excellent teacher in a famous private school with high reputation, Mr. Wang offers outstanding tutoring at quite reasonable fees.
As a parent, I am quite satisfied with my son’s progress and consistent interests in Maths learning.
